“Love” = selfishness

Romantic films focus alot on the love part and less on the reality. Such as a young couple who can’t pay the rent because they gave up their jobs just so they could see eachother. Or the couple that have bad relationships with their parents now because they put their lover before their family. Or the two love birds that are so much in love that they don’t realize all the friends that theyre losing. It’s stupid. I honestly cannot comprehend how people could do that, how someone could give up everything just for one person? even sacrifice their own lifestyle or even time with other loved ones. Spending so much time and money on only one person when you know you could have done something more productive. I even see people who stop their life goal, everything that they’ve ever worked for just because they “meet somebody.” I honeslty dont get any of it. None of it. It’s just so stupid.

I don’t get love.

… Maybe, it’s because I’ve never felt love like that …

… Maybe, I’m just lonely.
